Documenting Real Life At WeddingsSince 2017

Hi, I'm Chloe!

I'm a documentary wedding photographer based in Bristol, working across the UK, Europe and beyond, creating emotion-led, thoughtfully considered imagery for my couples.

When couples say they're worried about being awkward in front of the camera, what they really mean is that they care. That feeling isn't something to fix with posing or direction - it's often where your most honest moments live.

Tearing up during your vows, laughing because you don't know where to look, holding onto a hug for longer than you meant to - these moments matter and aren't something to be styled out. The photographs people value most are rarely the ones planned in advance; they happen in the in-between, when you're not thinking about how you look, only how you feel.

Whether you're marrying in Bristol, eloping to the Scottish Highlands or celebrating in the south of France, my focus stays the same: not capturing how it looked, but how it felt.

Your wedding isn't a photoshoot; it's a day to be lived. I'm not here to direct you with stiff poses or to work from long shot lists, but to document what's already happening, so you can stay present as it all unfolds. You don't need to perform for my camera; you just need to feel safe enough to be yourselves in front of it. With gentle guidance when needed, my aim is for you to feel held, never managed.

Before the day arrives, we'll have done the groundwork - building trust, making a connection, and talking through everything that matters to you. That means I can move through your day with ease and intuition, blending in like a guest while quietly noticing how you share it with the people you love most. You'll be able to relax, knowing it's being carefully documented.

Blending documentary storytelling with a fine art sensibility means I look for the beauty in the in-between; giving space to both the chaos and the quiet in equal measure. The laughter that lingers, the stolen glances, the unspoken moments where the real story lives - just as it was, natural and never performed. Sometimes I don't know exactly what photographs we'll end up with, and there's something about that that makes it all feel so beautiful.

Just as it was, because real life is Beautiful.
